Tourism chiefs keen to promote Tanzania's natural beauty

Tourism chiefs in Tanzania are keen to promote the country's natural beauty and superb reputation for being one of the best places in the world to see wildlife.

Earlier this month, leaders of Tanzania National Parks (Tanapa) invited five newly-appointed ambassadors to explore the east African country, Daily News reports.

The representatives - from Italy, Belgium, Uganda, China and Egypt - were amazed with what they saw when they embarked on a safari tour of the Serengeti National Park.

They concluded that even when the Great Migration is not taking place, the area still offers some sublime views of the world's most exotic creatures.

Following the trip, the ambassadors will return to their countries to promote Tanzania holidays to the masses.

Tanzania is already a popular destination and aside from its huge array of national parks and game reserves, the country is famous for the great Mount Kilimanjaro, which is the tallest peak on the continent.
