It is an exciting time to visit Jordan

Jordan is a very attractive proposition for people frantically looking for a last minute break.

Although there is never a bad time to take a Jordan holiday, the next few weeks have the potential to be extremely memorable.

The Middle Eastern country will hold the high-profile Discover Jordan Rally Tour between May 24th and 26th, which gives all drivers the chance to explore the nation's most famous sites.

Anybody with a valid driving licence is eligible to take part in the three-day occasion and managing director of iSports - one of the organisers of the event - Othman Nassif said it will be an "unbelievable adventure".

He told AMEinfo.com that participants will be able to see Amman, Jerash, Petra and many other regions.

"The Discover Jordan route has been extensively planned and outlined so as to give participants the chance to explore as much of our country as possible," he told the news provider.

If that wasn't enough, the rally also coincides with the 200th anniversary of the rediscovery of Petra and Jordan's Independence Day.
