Holiday to Egypt could include Hungarian exhibition
Culture vultures who book a holiday to Egypt could be interested in a range of new artefacts which have been added to the Cairo Museum.
The pieces have been uncovered by Hungarian explorers over the past 102 years in the Theban necropolis and will be on display until January.
Coffins, statues, jars and pottery are among the haul being added to the attraction, which recently held a ceremony to mark the event.
The bash took place on Friday (November 13th) and saw officials from Hungary and Egyptologists come together to discuss the finds.
Vice-minister of culture Dr Zahi Hawass gave a speech and later reported on his official blog that the exhibition is unique and impressive.
"I hope that in the future we are able to celebrate many more collaborations with Hungary and other countries," he said.
Adventure Company offers a range of holidays to Egypt, many of which include trips to Cairo.
Those interested in viewing the Hungarian exhibition could find the Felucca Adventure is most suitable, as it includes a free day in the capital city for optional excursions.
