What is your travel experience / background?

Frankly I haven’t travelled overseas, (I really hope to travel abroad)  but I’ve been travelling all around Egypt, I have been leading trips for 7 years so I’ve been to the Red Sea, Alexandria, western desert, Aswan and Luxor.

What is the best thing about your job? 

Meeting people and learning about their culture, daily life and attitude, making new friends from different countries all over the world and letting the passengers enjoy a different experience from home. 

What is the funniest thing that has ever happened on a tour?

It was my 2nd trip with Intrepid and it was a lovely felucca night,we were dancing and playing games,suddenly I saw something was floating next to our felucca I thought it was kids paper boats,then I saw others were following at that moment I realized it was the group shoes so I had to swim in the freezing water to save them and the group was very helpful,they were watching !!!! 

What is the best place to visit in your country?

The Pyramids of Giza.

What is the most interesting custom in your country?

Sham-el Nessim is one of the most interesting customs marking the beginning of Spring because it is an ancient Egyptian custom and the modern Egyptian still celebrating in the same way by hanging out to the public gardens and eating the same food like feseekh(salted gray mullet),lupine beans and colour boiled eggs. 

What is your life motto?

Al salam alaikoum means (peace be upon you),and it’s often used in Egypt when you meet people or leaving them

What are the most important items to pack for your tour?

Sun screens, day towel,t orch, sun glasses, toilet papers, hats, 1st aid kit, flip-flops, trainers

When is the best time to visit and why? 

Any time you’ll be welcomed but the best time between September till April because Summer is extremly hot, Spring is hot and lots of air turbulance like Khmaseen sand storm in Egypt. 

Please could you come up with a short statement, that describes you experience.

I’m a lucky person because I’m working as a tour leader and tour guide so I consider myself the real ambassador of my country and I feel really proud when the visitors of my country feel happy,have a wonderful time and regard it a life time experience.   

Could you mention an interesting facts about your region?

Egypt has 2 wonders of the ancient 7 wonders of the world(the ancient  light house in Alexandria and the great pyramid in Giza) the latter is the only one has survived among them.
