What is your travel experience/background?
I did some travelling in South America two years ago. I went to Bolivia and last year I went to Chile. That was great fun, I took my first skiing lessons there, I really loved it.

I have been leading trips for The Adventure Company for three years.
What is your favourite activity or event on the trips you lead?
My favourite activity is sharing with my groups every single moment, to make them feel like family.
What is the best thing about your job?
The best thing about my job is leading groups, I am doing things that I really like, I really enjoy travelling, sharing my culture with people, making friends from all over the world and being away from civilisation.
What is the funniest thing that has ever happened on a tour?
In Aguas Calientes Town another tour leader and I got involved in a political meeting thanks to our clients. What they did was to carry us on their shoulders around the square. that was really funny, but embrassing at the same time.
In your mind, what is the best place to visit in your country?
I think there are many good places to visit in Peru and the most beautiful are Cusco and Machu Picchu because of the culture, history and the beautiful landscape.
In your mind, what is the most interesting custom in your country?
I think the most interesting custom in my country is the sun festival or the Inty Raymi and the Corpus Christi.
In your mind what is the most important phrase to know?
PMA (Positive Mental Attitude). That one helps me alot with my groups.
In your mind, when is the best time to visit and why?
In my opinion the best time to visit is in between seasons, April - May and September - December. This is because at these times of year we don't have extreme weather like we have in the dry season and wet season. It's not very busy either.
In your mind, what are the most important items to pack for your tour?
A good sleeping bag, roll mat or therma-rest, down jacket, power drinks powders, extra clothes for the last day in Machu Picchu, hiking boots, trainers and sandals, spare batteries, knee supports, walking sticks, thermals and a good day sack.
How would you describe your experience?
To be a tour leader for The Adventure Company is one of the most important things in my life, because it gives me the opportunity to share my culture with the rest of the world and to be in contact with others. I am sure people can get the information from different guide books, but to get the information from a local guide is very different.
Visiting Machu Picchu every time is a different but amazing experience, seeing how our clients are so happy.
Can you give us an interesting fact about your region?
Cusco is a very interesting city because it is a multicultural place. There is a mix of cultures, religions and people.
