Eid without Mubarak spells the start of a new Egypt

The words tourism and Egypt are never found far apart, but the recent revolution has made even the gutsiest of travellers think twice about booking a trip to the exotic and cultured holiday destination.

As a leading trip provider in the region (and also huge fans of the country) we can completely understand. Although the revolution was peaceful, tensions ran high and the outcome was not always guaranteed to be a bloodless one.

From Phoebe aged 14

What  I really enjoyed was how much we were involved in the history. Ancient Egyptian history could seem quite boring, but our guide involved us in all of it – even making up little plays for us to act in, so we learnt a lot while having a lot of fun! At all the temples and tombs, our guide gave us little facts rather than vast amounts of information. This  was  easier to digest, especially for some of our group who were quite young!

Family holidays in Egypt

Our Family Holidays to Egypt are packed full of experiences to cater for the whole family. With tour guides to help you and like minded families to share the experiences, you can relax and enjoy a wonderful Egyptian Holiday. Many of our travelers are keen to share their experiences on our blog, so you can get a personal view of the holiday that awaits.

Felucca adventures

The winner of our writing competition, Julie Musk, tells us all about the Felucca Adventure she had with her family in Egypt.

"Our two children (aged 8 and 10) will hopefully have some great memories of our family adventure experience. The tombs and temples were awesome, full of hidden meanings, which our guide Ahmed did his best to explain. Each visit to a different site reinforced some of what we’d learnt and each place had its own unique atmosphere.

Feluccas & Pharaohs

Wow Egypt, not bad I thought for my second trip abroad. I was going with my Mum, Rachel, Jack my cousin and David, so not perfect as David is a bit mad! I am Tom, aged 10 when we went in August 2007.

One of my favourite parts of the holiday was the felucca boat trip down the River Nile, mainly because all the kids were on one boat and the adults on another. We all got on really well and played cards, gambling for M&M sweets. Cool!
