My experience of a Single Parent Holiday in Turkey

Our group holidays work well for single parent families. With a group holiday in Turkey you will fit right in and meet new friends, sharing new experiences and adventures. One of our parents shared their experience of a joining a Turkey Holiday with her teenage son.

When I booked this trip for me and my teenage son, I wondered if he was too old to go on a family holiday. I shouldn’t have worried. With six adults, five teenage boys and one girl, who soon became more than a match for all of them, our group got on really well.

Felucca adventures

The winner of our writing competition, Julie Musk, tells us all about the Felucca Adventure she had with her family in Egypt.

"Our two children (aged 8 and 10) will hopefully have some great memories of our family adventure experience. Why Andorra is a perfect destination for families

Andorra is a playground for activity holidays; with peaks of up to 2900m and valleys dropping to 700m, it’s the perfect place for exciting walks, white-water rafting, skiing, snowshoeing and mountain biking. In winter, snow usually arrives at the end of November and stays put until April. As Andorra has some of the highest peaks in the Pyrenees, there’s always a decent depth of snow under many blue skies to give Soldeu its name – ‘Sun God’.

I love Cuba because it's a friendly, beautiful place to take your kids. There's excitement, cultural enrichment and education, plus it has some of the best beaches in Latin America. Havana has just been named world's 'best destination' according to Wanderlust readers and rightly so. It's a must for families to experience the incredible ambiance of Cuba.
